University of Potsdam

Our observatory is used mainly in the Astrophysical Practice at the study program of Physics at the University of Potsdam for spectroscopic and photometric measurements. In addition, the observatory attracts huge crowds at public events at the Institute, and is occasionally used for astrophotography. We especially value on our equipment (particularly the mount) especially, that the handling is very intuitive even for inexperienced students and we are always ready for use quickly so we may concentrate on the practical experiments themselves.
