With the construction of the new Galileum, the observatory has also found a new home. However, due to limited space, the observatory in the Galileum is not generally open to visitors but is initially reserved for members of the Walter Horn Society e.V. The telescope's view can, however, be projected into the planetarium dome during special events.
Those who wish to take a look at the "real" stars with their own eyes can do so in good weather following selected events. Free supplementary tickets for up to 20 people are available exclusively at the evening box office in the Galileum.
