Einstein Gymnasium Neuenhagen

Our 3.2m observatory dome shines brightly, visible above the treetops of the garden city Neuenhagen. For the dome installation by the Baader Planetarium team in August 2017, we created the following video and published a report on our website:

In September 2018, the installation of the pier, mount, and telescopes followed. There is also a detailed report about this, from which we would like to share a few excerpts below.

(...) After a brief inspection of the observatory on the roof of the new school building, the "observatory professionals" confirmed that we have excellent conditions here and everything has been well planned. They were also impressed by the location on the green edge of Berlin. (...) Once all components are set up, the PC will only be accessed wirelessly via a laptop, tablet, or another PC. All components of the observatory, including the focusers, can then be remotely controlled via this system. (...) Fortunately, the Baader team gave us the impression that we can continue to expect excellent support after the setup. (...)
